Not sure of the set list. But that was incredible. I might come down to be just to see what they do tonight. Deerhunter isn't a concert, it's an experience.

What kind of music is it? I've seen this band mentioned a couple of times but haven't heard any of their stuff.

Indie/alternative, shoegaze, noise rock, garage rock, punk

YouTube Revival, Desire Lines or Nothing Ever Happened. I would link them, but too much trouble on the phone.

First time seeing them last night. It was experimental/psychedelic/trance with loopers and a punk vibe. it felt timeless at times

I was too trashed to write it down but if I was a gambling man...

Intro (didn't recognize or isn't an actual song)
Song from Cryptograms album
Song from Cryptograms album
Desire Lines
Song from Monomania album
Monomania
Song from Monomania album
10 minutes of reverb and feedback
Song from Weird Era Cont.
Song I Don't Recognize

I realize that is not helpful at all but monomania and desire lines were played and songs came from 3 or 4 different albums. Regardless, the songs are nothing live like they are on the album. Every song is extended for twice the normal length or more. They're a jamband #theDoc. It was psychedelic as shite and borderline uncomfortable at times. One of the best shows I've seen.

Awesome. Did they bring on any guest artists? And how is Bradford looking these days...

Thanks, sounds cool. Really looking forward to it!

I just realized that the opening act was Jackson Scott. I like the few tracks of his I have heard.

Jackson was good. The band after Jackson and before Deerhunter was a three piece punk band that may be the worst thing I've heard since everybody wanted to a rockstar in high school. I would never support booing but could re-evaluate my stance for a possible exception in this case. Awful stuff I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

Nope

Hideous as usual; maybe even more than usual. He was friendly last night though. No hijinks.

How sad is the Baton Rouge music scene that Deerhunter at Spanish Moon won't sell out of tickets?
