This will be the most athletic LSU team in a long time. Mickey, Martin, and Quarterman are all EXCELLENT athletes with GREAT length, hops, and scoring ability. Add Odoh clogging the middle and hopefully OBryant splitting minutes at the 4 and 5.

This team could be very, very good on a national scale.

SEC next year no doubt (of course UK will field an NBA team).

We've got the talent to make a tournament run next year, depending on bracket. But we finally have size, athleticism, and depth all on one team.

Been awhile!

Mickey definitely looked very impressive. It's rather nice to see all of the guys that LSU got to continue raising their stock and level of play.

Tyrus Thomas

The dude has a very nice shot around 10-12 feet. He went 11 of 11 from the free throw line. He has nice simple and effective post moves. He is about 6'8" 220 so he is bigger than TT was coming out of high school. Mickey had 8 blocks and 8 rebounds against a top 10 team in the country so you know he can hop. He had one ally oop where he got waaaay up to grab it. Reminded me a lot of Tyrus.

I have a feeling people are going to want JJ fired if we don't make the tourney next year. It will be entertaining.

I wouldn't go there. To me, he needs to work on his outside shot and dribbling skills.

Dont forget about Darcy Malone, a legit 7 footer, that has a nice touch and plays above the rim. Only 3 SEC teams return 7 footers that played- Auburn, Alabama, and Kentucky. While he may or may not be as good as them, that allows JOB3 to be guarded by a player usually around the same height but 20-30lbs lighter atleast. While ADP may not have done much at times just his size caused matchup problems.
