I really don't care if their fans post on here.

But the amount of threads I've seen on this board about them over the last few years have been super annoying. Once in a while is alright but let's not get carried away. The Tyson Clabo thread sucked. So did the Osi Umenyioura thread.

when Tony Gonzales returned, yeah, that was newsworthy. I wish he would have gone on and hung it up.

the Falcons-Saints threads on the MSB are pretty funny. Predictable... but funny.

I say keep that over there for the most part. But if not.. frick it... I said my piece.

How is Gonzo coming back newsworthy and them cutting their starting RT not?

And the Osi move is too. It fills a big gaping hole left by Abraham.

I don't have an issue with starting a Clabo thread. He could fill a need, if the staff saw fit. Turner, not so much. However, we don't need a thread for every move they make. As for the Falcons posters here, I don't give a shite about them, trolls or not.

Agreed, but I don't mind if some are created for those that are significant.

As unclear as my post was, that was the point I was trying to make.

I know. I don't know why I put it like I was saying something you didn't.

well, if you want to discuss it that is fine. So here it goes.

All I'm saying is that I'm sure their message boards don't have threads about who is going to replace Jermon Bushrod at left tackle for the Saints. If they do, then I stand corrected I wouldn't know though. I don't have time to go and visit Falcons web sites or team forums. I don't care about the Falcons enough to do crap like that.

Umenyioura is on the down hill of his career. To me, he is no better than John Abraham.

Now Steven Jackson is solid signing. That guy has had to go up against defenses stacking the box his entire career. Now that he is on an offense that has so many more weapons, he should find a lot more running room. That doesn't bode well for us. He has kicked the Saints arse just about every time he has played us. So yeah, I'm worried about that.

okay, that wasn't so bad, I guess.

its just that they do have a lot of threads about them on here though. And when there are discussions about other division teams on here, no one really seems to care. I just don't like it but whatever, I don't read a thread if it doesn't look interesting to me.

I haven't been to the Falcons board in a long time. I'm sure they probably had a thread when Bushrod signed with the Bears. They have discussed some of our FA loses and signings in the past. Same sort of stuff that goes on here. It's "Oh he's overrated" or "that's really going to hurt him" with some honest comments sprinkled here and there.

Neither of them are serious threats, even though we got swept by the Panthers. We played some shitty football against them. Even if we don't perform well against them, odds are they're not going to win the division or push us out of a wild card spot. Cam is just too inconsistent.

To me I hate the "frick the Falcons" threads. I mean I was happy when they lost the NFCCG, but it was all Falcons on this board for a couple of days.

The Bucs have some talent. I think they have made a lot of nice moves lately. The Eric Wright signing proofed to be a goof though. I don't think much of their coach though. Some of his antics are a little bush league to me. And they might not even be satisfied with Josh Freeman so there is that.

and you're absolutely right about the Panthers. I think if we had just been able to stop the run better against them last year, we would have beaten them both times. Cam Newton is a nice QB to have in fantasy football but that is about it.

Yes. That was super annoying.

I laughed when they lost and enjoyed their disappointment but the next day it was back to reality. We had our own worries.

We had just had a season turned upside down thanks to the bounty fiasco. Our defense had let us down big time. We still are without our second round pick again....
