I'll be in on business and looking for an early, quick lunch. Open to most any style of food.

You know the old saying about When in Rome Oteece... With that in mind I'd go with a nice Pear salad.

If you want BBQ I recommend Central Texas on 518. Stay away from Big Horn BBQ off 288.

Gringo's or Emma's for cheap Mexican.

Sakura if you want sushi, but may not be "quick".

Which Wich if you want a sandwich.

Jax Burgers off Shadow Creek Pkwy is the best burger I've found in Pearland.

Central BBQ is decent. Floyd's Cajun Steakhouse is actually a very good place. Owners are from Louisiana.

I don't like Floyds at all. For the prices they charge you can drive up to Goode Co Seafood on Kirby and get a much better meal.

Just some of the items my wife and I have tried and our thoughts.
Gringo's
Tortilla Soup - if you like soup of course, my wife gets this a lot
Pulled Pork Enchiladas - freaking awesome
BBQ Pulled Pork Quesadillas - awesome
Fish Tacos are very meh
Chile Relleno - good if you like stuffed peppers
Pollo Marisco - Father-in-law got this and said it was good

Emmas
Quesadillas - good
Chicken Tacos al Carbon - great
Tacos de Camaron - awesome shrimp tacos, loved the honey chipotle sauce
Barbacoa Enchiladas - best enchiladas at the place

Must try for me at Gringo's would be the pulled pork enchiladas. At Emmas it would be the Tacos de Camaron.
