Reynolds didn't "feel normal" after Tuesday night's game and is probably unavailable this weekend. Glenn has two clunkers out of 3 SEC games and didn't get to pitch last night as scheduled. Should be interesting....

Glenn was great at home against Auburn. He'll probably bounce back.

The article said Mainieri was unsure though...I wonder of Bonvillain gets the call if they don't use him in games one and two...

I don't see Bonvillain ever being a starter. He's always been best in that extended middle relief role.

Yeah...at best Bonvillain starts and goes 4-5 innings then they have to piece the rest together from the pen

Could it be that we never get a Sunday starter and instead plan to pitch a sunday rotation of about 3 innings each??? You have to ask yourself...

McCune will work his way back into the roll of Sunday starter. At least I hope so....may take a couple more weeks though. Which is not good seeing as we got Kentucky and Ark the next 2 weekends....

I agree Bonvillain would get the start and go as long as he can then bullpen the rest of the way.

This would be a good thing.

I would love to see Coon back in the mix. I think Glenn will get another shot this Sunday.

My prediction: Glenn will start and try to go 4 or 5, Bonvillain will come in and try to go 3 or 4 then piece the last 2 or 3 innings with the back end of the bullpen.

I really hope Glenn and/or Cune can hold the reigns for the season. Having Bonvillian and Bougerois set up, with Cotton closing is deadly right now.

Just think about this: we currently have the best record in the nation and we don't have either a sure Sunday or mid week starter. Some great coaching going on this year at LSU I'll say; Dunn and PM just keep putting the winning pieces together somehow when our starters have imploded. Bullpen has been masterful, but I admit I am anxious about pitching.

This isn't the problem. It only appears that way because the weeknight starters are the ones that get rotated to that Sunday slot. Glenn and Reynolds have both proven to be adequate in midweek, minus a tough one this week. Plus Johnny Wholestaff has displayed success too thanks to depth.

The idea of piecing together Sunday for now is not a bad idea. I don't think Glenn's stuff is good enough at this point in his career to go through the lineup more than twice against the better teams in the SEC. PM has said before that he feels his bullpen is better when he can throw those guys in midweek games.

I wouldn't mind giving Joey B a chance at Sunday starter. He has enough experience.

He's plenty good enough but it would suck to lose him out of the bullpen. Glenn is certainly going to get the start on sunday imo.
