I'm for the opposite.

Taking the new ones and cutting out some of the ridiculous Bourne chases/stunts and going back to old school Goldfinger storyteling Bond.

I agree 100% with this. The Daniel Craig Bond is as smooth as a chainsaw blade. If I wanted a Bourne Movie I would watch a Bourne movie.

Jennifer Lawrence as a Bond Girl

I prefer the older Bond movies. Skyfall was pretty damn good though.

Mirror scene in Man with the Golden Gun was one of my favorites.

I always wanted to see a remake of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, but with Casino Royale and Skyfall still being so fresh on everyone's minds, the ending wouldn't be as powerful (Bond losing a loved one).

Craig is due for a Thunderball type movie where he has to foil the villain's plan within a certain timeframe. I think a movie like this would be a great way to bring Quantum back into the storyline. Maybe not as heavy as Skyfall but certainly not a pure action flick like Quantum of Solace.

Of course I've always said that if we reach a day where they are struggling for new Bond movies, I wouldn't mind one bit if they rebooted the series where Bond is back in the 60's.

Thunderball has already been remade. It was "Never Say Never Again".

Dear god no.

I would rather new stories not rehashing old plots.

Yes Casino Royale was great but it wasn't really a remake since the original was a spoof and had nothing to do with the novel.

Instead of a guy trying to corner the gold market you could have someone trying to undermine the currency markets by kidnapping the daughters of heads of central banks. Liam Neeson could costar

But he is the closest to the character portrayed in the Ian Fleming novels.
