cabelas has it with free mounts for $199... ive been trying to figure out which setup i want on my ar and just can not decide.. i have a 20" so i think i want something with a little magnification to it... but i like the looks of the shorter scopes on the ar, i just dont think i will like it shooting at 100yds. give me some suggestions i want to stay in the $200-250 range. im open to red dot scopes or lighted recticle but i just want to make sure i can see the target at 100 yards if need be.

Almost put one on mine but ended up going with Leupold Mark AR instead. For $199 I don't think you'll find a better scope for that price!

Had a red-dot on mine first but hated it. was good for shooting beer cans, but if you actually want to hunt or shoot something over 30-40 yds accurately you want to go with a magnified scope IMO.

Good price for scope and rings. That's probably what I'll put on my 300 build.
