As CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora wrote earlier Tuesday, “White has the potential to get meaningful snaps in the offseason and during exhibition games,” because Robert Griffin III won't be ready to return immediately with the devastating knee injury he suffered in the Redskins playoff loss last season.
White originally worked out for the 49ers last week, and he was scheduled to meet with the Giants this week before backing out of that visit on Tuesday.
For his career, he's played in 13 games and rushed 21 times for 81 yards. White has thrown five career passes. He's completed none of them.
All for guys getting a 2nd chance.

I'm all for comebacks as well but after that hit he took in that steelers game I can't believe he is.

Never seen anyone have a better feel for the read option than PW. He was just getting a shot at seeing how his arm could fare in the league when Ike Taylor trucked him into the 2010s.

I just find it funny how he dropped his concussion lawsuit. I guess the NFL is a safe place to play as long as you're still in the league.

I don't see how any one would have a problem with this. If it doesnt work in WAS he could easily end up in PHI, SF, or SEA

Funny how I remembered the VT-WVU game in 2005 when Bednarik came out of the game and White came in. Didn't know at the time how good of a qb in White would become in college.
