Cost of Home (taxes) in BR Compared to Outlying Areas

Can anyone give me a glimpse of how big of a difference taxes are living in Baton Rouge compared to Livingston, Ascension, etc... ????

$200-$300 more in EBR.

Thanks. I know Zachary is high, but it seems reasonable because of schooling. How about central???

Home assessed in Livingston Parish @ $325,000 require $2812 in property taxes...

All surrounding areas are higher than BR I'm pretty sure. Property taxes in ascension on a 200-250k house would range from about $1700-$1900 or so.

Move to Texas. It's gonna be one of the best decisions you'll make IMO.

Great advice. That is completely feasible seeing as we just moved to Louisiana from Texas. Would you recommend moving to Luxemburg?? I can always do that.
