What is your earliest "critical watching" recollections?

For me, I can remember watching Sunday movies with some of my cousins at one or the other of our houses. The fare was usually something like old Godzilla or similar movies. We we're probably not much more than 10 but we loved snarking on the movies - "oh, yeah, THAT would really happen"

I can remember while in 2nd or 3rd grade watching "Lost in Space" and sort of identifying with Will, who was smarter and braver than Dr. Smith.
When Dr. Smith called Robot 'ninny' I used to want them to tell him - "you're the ninny, Smith." Plus those absurly bad plots with talking vegetables and intergallactic hippies...
