Wow...that was great. :)

But I'm still extremely happy there's only one more issue left in the All Out War arc...

I was good with it and understand why it needed to go down that way. It's kind of cheesy in one way where it appears....spoilers below...

that Negan is being kept alive to have some sort of recurring arch-villain type character. Very "comicbooky" and unlike TWD up until now.

It'll be interesting to see where the book goes from here.

Great ending to "All Out War." Spoiler space for Psyc:

I think it had to end that way. Robert can't keep killing a tyrant, then bringing in a new one. Plus like Rick says, it's time to rebuild. They can't just keep going in circles of where they're battling a new threat every so many months. Each community doesn't have to be a militaristic stronghold. Sooner or later the group has to deal with the primary threat. If any of you are familiar with the "We're Alive" audio drama podcast then you'll know where I'm coming from. If you're not I suggest you start listening now, because it only has a few more episodes before it ends, and there are a lot of episodes.

I like the idea of a time jump in the comics...brings some interesting aspects.

Good deal. I didn't want to read about what happened directly after the war.

sounds awesome.

I thought Negan would be Dead. Instead he is just in jail.

Meant post a few weeks ago but did anyone see The Writers Room episode with Kirkman? It was pretty informative about what he does with the show. He lets the show folks do their thing but as soon as they start getting too close to a direct adaptation he tells them to stop and go a different direction. So basically he makes it impossible for the comic to spoil the show as far as the story goes. He also said that he wants to only do maybe 10 seasons at the most.

Shhhh! You'll get us all banned for talk like that!

Some of the scenes are almost exactly like the comic but the circumstances surrounding them are different. Like the last scene of this past season or Rick biting the guy's neck. These things happened in the comic but not to the same people or in the same situation.

Yeah he doesn't mind having call backs to the comic but if things get too familiar he says he starts getting bored. Another to add is he said that he going to attempt to end the comic around 300.

OMG #127!

My immediate thoughts - SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY

-LOVED the herding and the medieval feel to the beginning
-RICK'S GOT A CLAW, Y'ALL!!
-And he's still wearing a leg brace and using a cane two years after the broken leg. Glad we didn't have to read all that.
-He also has a completely new look with the buzz cut and beard
-OMG CARL IS A HIPSTER
-Carl is calling Andrea MOM???? That's big.
-Damn at all the crops and livestock.
-Rick is looking OLD.
-"Time to make the donuts..."
-Why is Andrea dressed like Zorro? I think that's Darryl's poncho.
-Maggie is still the leader of Hilltop. Cool.
-Building a "hotel"? For the fair? Interested to see what that's all about.
-So........Magna = female Rick
-Look at Eugene - being the herd master and building mills and shite.
-lol Carl's big talk was about being a blacksmith? The whole time I was waiting for it to be about sex or moving in with a girl or something.
-Ohhhhh, the blacksmith is over at Hilltop. Poor Rick.
-Oh Lord - Carl is getting all Clarice Starling with Negan.

Pretty good. Like the new tone and LOVE the time jump. It would have been boring as hell to read about Rick healing and them building Alexandria. Glad Kirkman skipped all that.
