If they are good enough to play in the MLS or in Europe, then that's what they are doing.

USCe would kill the rest of the league for the first few years. They are a legit national power. Also, LSU would succeed by pulling in recruits from Dallas and Houston. Louisiana doesn't have much talent on that level.

Patrick Mullins and Jason Garey disagree with you.

It's not. Bhoy's just being Bhoy. As others have said, the players that are USMNT caliber from a younger age usually don't play in college. The college soccer players usually fill MLS rosters while some get a chance to play overseas.

not even close

not too sure about this. the state of louisiana is pretty shitty at soccer as well. i wouldnt put lsu at the bottom or top of my list for good programs.

florida and georgia are obvious answers to be successful. kentucky is in a great soccer area and already has a good start. those are my provisional top 3.

They have a ton of tournament appearances, two CUSA titles in the last three years, and a few alumni who have played for the MNT (Guzan, Mathis, Josh Wolff). I would say they're a top-15 program.

not really. off the top of my head, i would say right around 25th which is probably where their population number lies as well.

Just curious, why 25th? And what other reasons besides population?

Auburn would be able to get a good bit of those Huntsville guys because of the engineering program. The majority of our University Club team is from Huntsville and they are pretty good.

Meh. UA and AU's engineering programs are basically equal. It just depends on which type of engineering you want.
