Vardon (overlap)
Interlock
Baseball (10 finger)
Which do you use and why?

Vardon - nothing to serious but it just feels more comfortable (used to interlock until late teens).
Interesting that the two greatest both used an interlocking grip (Nicklaus and Tiger).

Interlock...for as light of a grip as you should have, I think this gives you the most security.
Plus it's comfortable.

Maybe weird but full wedges to chips I use interlock. Everything else is overlap

I was reading that Scott Piercy and Jhonnathan Vegas use the 10 finger grip. If a PGA player uses it how come more amateurs don't?

I think Bob Estes (still on tour?) used a baseball grip. Only one I was aware of.

Interlock. Used it since I started playing at 8-9. Good enough for Jack and Tiger, good enough for me.

Yea, Estes uses it. I want to say tommy gainey does too

Harder to hinge wrists and allow the hands to work together is what I was always told. That's why guys that hit a softball 500 feet use an overlap. Much more speed and whip.

Interlock. Just the way I was taught.

Interlock. Vardon doesn't feel secure enough for me.

Interlock for the clubs. Reverse grip for the putter

Interlock for me on everything. Honestly I don't even know how or why I started that, but I think the first time I grabbed a club I gripped it that way and it hasn't changed. It's like weave said... It feels secure and like the hands are one big unit. I don't understand how anyone uses anything else, it feels like shite to me lol

Interlock since I was 8..

Can one be a single digit handicap with a baseball grip?

Forgot about this, extended reverse overlap for putting.
I switched to Vardon because I was holding the club too firm and it caused my right elbow to straighten with the interlock, vardon lets me feel my swing better and loosen up if that makes any sense.

I use the ten finger grip.
I used interlock until I was about 12, I stopped playing for whatever reason and when I started back nothing felt comfortable to me other than ten finger.
Every spring, when I first start swinging again, I toy with the idea of switching, but it never lasts. Just can't get comfortable.
