I guess Goodwin is delusional according to himself:

quote:

“If any of us were saying we think we should leave, then we’d all be delusional. None of us need to leave.”

Goodwin Leaving, WCS Staying

Cauley-Stein staying is surprising and good news for that team to pair with Dakari down there at center. Obviously the news of Wiltjer transferring was just rumor and he might be better since he will just be relied on as a shooter off the bench now.

Supposedly, Aaron Gordon told his parents his decision and it surprised them. Not saying it is Kentucky (I think he is Zona bound, but makes you wonder if Poythress is waiting on him and Wiggins to decide before making his choice?

Also sounds like Kentucky is more of a player for Wiggins than people are giving them credit for. Doesn't help he is with four of Kentucky's starters next year this week.

I put Players Leaving at the end of the title so anyone can include other players that make their decision. I would look into that but I've already taken up a lot of space here

I dont think Kentucky gets Gordon.

Apparently Randle didnt even know UK was one of Gordon's finalist. Also Gordon told the coach a month ago he committed.

I do think they get Wiggins though.

Hope Gordon and wiggins go there. The recipe for a train wreck is brewing. Not enough minutes

don't care that he's leaving, but I seriously don't understand why so many people do this, and not just players

Like Steve Alford saying he wants to be at UNLV for a long time, then 10 days later accepts UCLA offer.

I understand bigger and better opportunities present themselves, but don't say that shite in the first place. Not really that hard.

Goodwin can have fun going late first/early second, sit on the bench for three years then get released and play for some Chinese time where no one gives a frick

I think it's worse for professionals like Alford to do it. It was a dumb thing for Goodwin to say, but you have to remember he is an 18 year old kid upset this hyped team got sent home in the NIT and wanted to prove himself. Then he probably hears things from scouts and his potential agent and those feelings change.

A grown man like Alford is the one that looks worse because he's been in the business and should know better than do those things, whether UCLA is a better opportunity or not.

If what you are saying is true about Gordon telling the coach, I think it has to be Arizona. He recently added Oregon late so I think that's just for another hat on the table.

In some interviews during the McDonald's practices, Wiggins has been using "we" when talking about Kentucky. I know that's something small and he might just be doing it to draw up more hype, but it's something worth noting

that's because his answers using we have been to questions like "if you go to kentucky, how good will yall be?" the appropriate response, which he has been giving, is "we'd be fricking awesome."

he's probably going there, but i have seen like 45 different people exaggerating the we thing.

This Kentucky team for 2013-2014
I realize this years team was bad but Kentucky if Wiggins commits will be preseason #1.
Like someone posted above if Wiggins commits Poythress is a goner, just loke Goodwin saw the writing on the walk so will Poythress. WCS staying is the shocker everyone thought he was pro. Minutes will become an issue if Poythress stays and Wiggins commits.
Ryan Harrow was I believe leaving regardless, I really felt bad for the guy, his dad become really sick so he is transferring to Ga State to be closer to him, but no college athlete that does nothing wrong but lose a game should get hate mail and be looked at in disguist. Pressure of being the next great Cal PG from day one started off bad.

He missed a few games during the season because of this and I think it affected him the rest of the way. Obviously, his dad's condition got worse.

Also, it looks like Mark Gottfried finds himself in a situation at N.C. State. Both C.J. Leslie and Lorenzo Brown (don't know why)have announced they are going pro and for whatever reason, Rodney Purvis is transferring, leaving T.J. Warren there. Purvis will likely have teams knocking down his door because he didn't have a bad year. Mark is bringing in 3 ESPN 100 guys though and it will be interesting to see if Tyler Lewis can start now

Leslie, Brown and Purvis ? Geez

Could have been stacked next year

Always love the idiots who leave early and either don't get drafted or go very late in the draft and spend a while in the D-League. Must really hate college

I only had DeAndre Jordan that was a one and done while I was at A&M but I didn't have any classes with him so I wouldn't know, but I've heard stories where they barely go to classes anyway. Just do enough to get by to play.

It caught up with Syracuse twice with Fab last year and Southerland earlier this year, but he got things cleared up

Not surprising but Anthony Bennett is heading to the NBA:

LINK

There's a guy that I think will have a bright NBA future. Nice to also see he was pretty emotional at his presser

Zo is really a senior this year and while most regret it later in life he is probably ready to be done with tests and things of that nature.

If those three freshmen stay (Ashley, Jerrett and Kaleb), which I think they all will, that team is going to be scary with this class coming in
