Official Easter Weekend Results thread--my slow weekend within

Hit the camp Thursday afternoon. Saw a Bald eagle just west of 310 on I 10. Damn thing swooped to within 30 feet of my truck. Best pic I could get:
Fished Friday all over. Went to Pelto--water dirty. Went to Timbalier--water OK, but no bites. Ran back up to Rock Island--too windy. Ran back into the marsh around deer bay--nothing. Missed one red and one drum all day. Disappointed but the day was fine. Went back to camp and made a Good Friday Wahoo and Crawfish Piquant:
sunset was nice:
Saturday, we ran to Sister lake and only managed 8 trout all day. Squid bait (nick name) caught this nice hoister red:
Back to camp for some ribs and smoked wahoo and another sunset.
Came home last night. Waiting for the fishing to pick up...

Fished in NELA all day Friday and didn't catch a MFin thing................Perch just weren't biting. I think the cold weather early in the week had em messed up.

yep--they're upside down on my iphone. Right side up on photobucket and right side up on desktop. it'll work itself out I have a feeling

Saturday: a fifth of vodka and 7-9 beers. still unsure
Sunday: a pint and a half of vodka and 14 beers

Bird number 1, heaviest 2 year old ive killed, 21 lbs. 9.75" beard, 7/8" spurs.
Gobbled twice in tree and 3 times on ground. Set up at 6:15 and shot him at 6:28. I love those quick hunts
