I think the trade deadline rush makes the league really competitive.

You just wound up on the wrong side of it....I did last year too.

You wouldn't feel this way if you weren't the sled proclaimed worst basketball gm in fantasy ever.

I think tradin picks makes it easy to make a team better… I need blocks, ok, I'll give you a 1st for blocks. Doesn't take much thought.

I do think the rules are fine as is. My hope is more people start to realize how much an advantage one team has when they are loaded up on picks and take it into consideration when dealing.

the only people that I were offering picks to at the deadline were Karma or will, I wasn't going to give the early sellers more.

I was an early seller but also gave a 1 and a 3 away late....you shouldn't have black balled me.

The point is that every year by trade deadline we had nothing but the playoffs still actively trying to compete.

last year, there were 1-2 excess teams that had to make decisions. i knew i didn't have a title team, so i sold out late

i used that booty of picks/players i acquired to get Kevin Love in the offseason. now i got fricked b/c he broke his hand, but he is a top-5 player when healthy and shooting well. i didn't exactly deal him for peanuts, either, this year.

this league is just filled with realistic owners. making the playoffs is easy. having a team you legit think can win the title is much more difficult.

until my deal with will, i still had my first and second (i think). the fantasy gods decided i had to gives those up to will.

now, i got brook lopez, conley, and calderon for those picks, so i'm not complaining. that's 2 good/possibly elite down the road keepers and a point that fit my assist/FG/FT needs.

if i couldn't trade picks i literally would have been totally fricked months prior and would never have been able to adjust to the injuries my team was decimated by

Goddammit...and is the karma hissy fit over? Standing pat on league rules and not going down that idiot's proposed road?

Just looked at last seasons playoff bracket. 3 teams made this years- me, karma and rick.

Karma was 6th seed and bounced in first round last year too.

I'm only team in last 3 years to make back to back final fours

me and Redd have put together MASH units this week due to the late week selloff last week

thanks to the heat benching half their team, norris cole and mike miller are so fiya right now, though

funny enough, melo has been redd's team this week. he's 90 of his 359 points and 8 of his 20, 3s

yep. i just figured that out about an hour ago...Melo has 25% of my fricking points this week, and 40% of my 3's. In two games.

The injuries to Harden, Pierce, and Nelson are really hurting me.

well i've been hurt, too. parker is probably done. calderon missed a game. griffin is a shell right now (i wish they had just sat him like 2 weeks ago to get his calf right).

a huge thing about this week is you had melo go the frick off for 2 games and durant didn't play until last night. i get him 2 more times

Yeah, i didnt mean that to come off as "i'm the only one dealing with injuries." Its gonna happen this late in the year.

The league is fine the way it is. I don't see anyone wanting to change besides Karma. I didn't have some of my early picks this year and was anticipating a rebuilding year. My keepers aren't close to Karma's. I just drafted way better and got lucky on a few people like Vucevic.

I didn't take high risk players in the first 5 rounds. I took solid contributors most of whom exceeded expectations.

it's ok. i survived. 4-4 and i'm within distance of all 4 (somehow i'm within sights of 3s, which is amazing)

tonight is going to make things more clear

my team was shooting 57 fricking percent before last night, though

you're welcome for using my method

late in the year, i had to decide if i was going to rebuild this year or next. i felt i had a shot at the title this year so i'll roll the dice next year with rebuilding. i didn't have a 1st or 2nd this year and i'm still in the finals, so i know it is possible. i just need to hit on my picks and make those crucial FA decisions.

as long as i have durant and valencuinas, i have a shot
