So I started watching this series recently... but have noticed quite a few scenes that are miscued or just don't make sense.

For example...

Season 3 episode 3

Merle takes off his prosthetic knife arm to show Andrea his nub after he captured her and Michonne. But when he goes to put it back on, it shows his hand sliding back into it.

Season 3 episode 15

Merle hot wires a ghetto car with some nice rims... only to play southern rock n roll in it later to attract walkers to lure to the Governor. Who has shiny rims and has CDs to lynard skynard type stuff?

The list goes on and on... it's just amusing to spot things that don't make sense or are obvious mistakes.

Every true southerner carries around at least one, sometimes two, Skynyrd CDs at all times.

Carols hair never grows. Judith never cries. It never rains. Ricks hometown was close enough to go get guns but he didn't know about a prison as the Sheriff. They apparently got enough formula to last forever because they never go looking anymore. Must not be using diapers either. With that hygiene the baby is sure to get sick a lot and cry more. Nobody ever misses when the shoot. That really annoys me.

When they Governor attacks the prison they have the firepower to blow up half of it but they don't do it.

never see them looking for clean water. i'm assuming the local water treatment plant is up and running? where do they take dumps?

They maintain great hygiene considering. that emo haircut Daryl sported this season doesn't gel itself!

Its just the basic survival stuff that they seem to ignore beyond having shelter.

also, baby judith must have the same babysitter as dexter morgan's kid

You people do realize that scissors still exist in the ZA? Yes, their hair isn't all overgrown, but you really expect the directors to show everytime one of them gets a hair cut? The same goes for baby formula. Just because they don't show it, doesn't mean someone didn't go make a run to get more.

Rick is supposed to be from Kentucky. They shouldn't have been able to make a run to his hometown from a prison in Georgia. The whole scenario in that episode was strange. Seemed more like just an excuse to get Morgan into an episode.

That being said, there's nothing that says they couldn't have driven all the way to Kentucky.

I wonder how many people would watch the show if half the episode every week was showing them taking a dump in the woods and wiping with leaves, or tracking down some TP. Or showing them struggle to feed an infant and wake up with it 4-5 times per night.

How many people would watch if every 3rd episode was haircut/nail clipping/shaving day?

The stuff that you call a 'miscue' is really just nonsense filler that isn't entertaining at all. I could watch Keeping up with the Kardashions if I wanted to watch all this fashion shite you folks bring up.

ETA: Would you watch if every other episode you saw one of these B's wadding up some cotton and tying string around it then disappearing behind a tree?

True.

I was however disappointed in the finale.
The prison rush scene was anticlimactic.

I was hoping they would leave the prison for greener pastures.
Chang e scenery.
