In the scene where Buster is pulling out a binder on a medical marijuana study he participated in, other studies fall out.




"HEMISPHERECTOMY SURGERY" is on the binder lying flat on the table.

definition - A hemispherectomy is a very rare surgical procedure where one cerebral hemisphere (half of the brain) is removed or disabled.

Side effects -

"may suffer problems with their vision as well."
"Feeling tired or depressed."
"...you lose use of the hand opposite of the hemisphere that was removed."


Q: "What Risks Are Associated With a Functional Hemispherectomy?
A: Delayed development.

Maybe... but slowed development, feeling tired, losing the use of a hand, bad vision.

Arrested Development - an abnormal state in which development has stopped prematurely.



That would be a massive coincidence.
