I think it's a better fit but it looks like the Western Conference will be a lot tougher the next few years.
Yeah. I do like the idea of playing teams like Seattle, Portland, RSL, and LA twice per year though

Adds good geographical rivals as well with Colorado and the Texas teams. I figure when NYCFC joins the league Houston will be moved to the West.

We acquired 19 yo Colombian midfielder Jimmy Medranda from Deportivo Pereira on loan, and a 20 yo American defender from Figueirense on a permanent move: LINK

Awesome win tonight. Hope Kei isn't injured too bad, and hopefully Zusi is back next week.

Anyone know what this means?
Robb Heineman ?@RobbHeineman 6m
This is not easy, but sometimes in sports you have to make tough, unpopular decisions. This is one of those days. #skcnation

No doubt that it is about Kei Kamara.
There were some rumors about it earlier, here is one from skysports: LINK

see ya Kei
Kei will be really, really hard to replace. we better be spending this money on a replacement in the winter. sounds like it'll be at least $1,000,000 that we will have to spend since MLS is taking a third of the fee. Hopefully it is closer to $2,000,000 though.

I'm going to the game tomorrow
Hopefully guys like Mikey Lopez and Jimmy Medranda can play a lot, Medranda almost scored a wonder strike in his debut

Have you guys already won your Champions League group?

no
SKC - 7
Olimpia - 6
Esteli - 4
Esteli is done, SKC-Olimpia tomorrow will decide it. We are at home and we just need a draw, but I'm still nervous after we lost to Esteli at home.
Honestly, I think we are going to (and should) focus on this game tomorrow more than the Philly game. Advancing in the CCL (with the financial benefits and more) is more important and a better chance of happening than beating a desperate Philly team and also hoping for a NY loss/draw. Of course playing well in both games would be nice, though.

If the weather sucks you might have an advantage.

There was a little rain today, a bit chilly but not cold by any means. Idk what it will be like tomorrow night.
ETA: tomorrow night it will be about the same. Chance of rain, ~45-50 degrees.

Didn't get to see the game, but glad we were able to advance.

Looking good for MLS in the Champions League. SKC is in, LA is already in, San Jose got in barely, and Houston should be advancing.

Bump. Seems like there are more SKC people here than last so hopefully there can be more discussion.
Possibly going to "Sporting Takeoff", the kit unveiling/captain announcement, tomorrow... if I do, I'll be sure to take some pictures. Same with the 1st leg of the Cruz Azul tie... really looking forward to it, so I am hopeful that I can go.
