Your Royals have a chance of winning something or at the least having a productive season.

Sure, you have had a very long dry spell. However, you have a World Series championship in your history. So I would have to say overall Royals>Astros.

Anyone remember the O/U in Vegas for games they'd win this year? It was outrageously low and I chuckled Something like 52 games maybe?

I think the loss of Hunsicker, in combination with the albatross that was Bagwell's contract, was the nail in the coffin.

Although he carries great lifetime numbers against the Astros, his shot was in a series they lost.

Drayton is the main reason the Astros are so bad. He made all the decisions in regards to everything. He believed the Astros where still relevant and could compete even when they where clearly out of it. He believed in reloading, not rebuilding. He raided the minors to get overpriced, over the hill free agents to get these pieces he believed we needed to win. I reality he sold the team with the minor leagues in shambles, no clear direction for the team. He called all the shots and the GM and all those under him where just yes men. Drayton is the reason we are at the spot we are in now. Jim Crane is not a fault.

As a Chicago Cubs fan, I feel it's only a matter of time before we take back that crown.

Go be an Astros fan then. The only thing I hate about being a Cubs fan is all the WGN fans.
Well, that and not winning pennants.
If youve never sat in the bleachers or stood out on Waveland Ave. then why in God's name are you a fan of my team ?
Its always amazed me how we have bandwagon fans. It's not like we're the Bulls or Yankees or something.

I'm far from a Cubs fan but just because someone hasn't been to wrigley doesn't mean they aren't a good fan.

The only baseball games I remember being on TV regularly growing up were Braves on Tbs and Cubs on wgn.

Years later fox sports came along and had Astros games.

I am a 'stros fan because I spent alot of summers in Houston with my grandparents and was able to go quite often, otherwise I probably would be a cubs or braves fan.

Come down from your ivory tower.

The current O/U in Vegas for Astros wins this year is 58.5

They won 55 last year.

So Vegas is thinking an improvement, lol.
