The online gaming element is something different, should be cool.

I liked tonight's wesen but having the Fuchsteufelwild jump off the roof was kind of silly.

Nick needs to suck it up and fill Juliette in on everything going on. Juliette is going to be pissed when she finds out Monroe, Rosalee, Hank ect are all in on it and Nick hid being s Grimm from her

Hopefully she just moves away and we can get rid of this anchor.

Juliette moving away would be a pleasant surprise.

Love that next weeks seems focused on the royal family arc

Yeah. They need to resolve the Juliette thing. The jolly green ghosts are definatly memories. The one tonight was them arguing at the trailer when nick told her he was a grimm

So, I'm assuming the Wesen's name was an anagram of Rumpelstiltskin, right?

yes that was the intention.

the whole girl breaking a promise and eventually figuring out his real name plays into the actual Rumpelstilskin story I believe.

Yes, in the fairy tale she promised her firstborn child if Rumpelstiltskin would help her spin gold into thread (or fabric?). I think she even fell asleep as he worked through the night to spin the gold. In this episode, he offered to help her with code (assonance with "gold"?), then she and the others fell asleep as he finished it. The fairy tale character didn't want to live up to her promise, but she could only get out of the deal if she guessed his name, which is essentially what happened in this episode. The other names Nick found in the book also seemed to be anagrams of the same combination of letters.

I guess cutting people in half and cauterizing their wounds with acid was a new element added by the show's writers to provide us with our weekly ration of gore.

Geez, I could not agree more. This whole story line doesn't make sense anyway. He's told Hank and the Captain everything. She already knows there's some weird shite going on when they had to "undo" the spell and she has started seeing the visions/ghosts. He was trying to tell her the night she went into the coma. Now, suddenly, he wants to keep his secrets from her? That doesn't make sense.

Besides, didn't Aunt Marie tell Nick way back at the beginning that she had to go, for her own safety? Please, for the love of all that is Wesen, can they have him decide to let her go for her own good so we can be done with this stupid arc?

Yes, it was a disappointing ending.

Yes, there's no good end to this story line and it is dumb in the first place. The only resolution with potential that keeps her on the show is if he lets her in on it and somehow her veterinary skills play into his/their dealings with the Wesen, since a lot of them seem to have animal characteristics, but even that is limited because the Rosalee character pretty much handles that. They need to get it over with.

They probably just keep Juliet and the love angle around for the female viewers and their silly emotions.

Probably. I think we can all agree it has ran its course.

like the show a lot, but they have to mix something up to keep it from being just the same episode repackaged with different wessen every week.

Maybe hank will gain powers, or the royal family thing will hopefully jump off into something interesting.

They have done a good job of incorporating the captains role into the main story. They have failed with the Juliette stuff, get rid of the 10min each episode they spend on her and add a different element and they are good.
