As I said in a thread earlier this week, Coach has taken the DH against RHP from Moore. Makes no sense to me. Look at the numbers.

I completely agree. The kid is clutch. Can't see what he's done wrong this year to be at the lonely end of the bench.

Congrats on the win Tigers!!! Didn't get a chance to listen or watch but checked out the gametracker on the game. Frankly, just glad we didn't get completely embarrassed. As to the Mizzou feed, y'all aren't the first and won't be the last to scratch your head at some of their commentary. Good luck the rest of the weekend.

He has done something in Coach's mind. The production from the DH spot has sucked. Other than Moore and Rhymes, I'd bet the avg from the DH is less than .200. Moore is hitting .275 and would increase that avg if given the opportunity. Just my opinion.

The only explanation for Moore seeing the bench this long is something he's in the dog house for IMO. Has to be grades/skipping class, missing practice, etc...something along those lines. I just dont see why we're seeing practically nothing from the DH spot recently and Moore continues to ride the pine.

Again, this is what I am saying and you see it too. Take out Moore's and Raph's ABs at DH and I bet the DH avg is well below .200. I don't get it.

I wasn't listening, but I've heard Hunter Mense talk about a "bugs bunny pitch" before, and I'd guess that's what he said tonight.
He's referring to a pitch that seems to stop or change speeds or move in slow motion on the way to the plate. Referencing the classic Bugs Bunny cartoon (that video has some problems, but its the best I could find)

And I would like to apologize for the lousy video feed. They use one camera and point it from behind the net. Speaking of the net, it hasn't been replaced since the stadium was built in 2000, and depending on where you sit it feels like you're watching the game through a geriatric hooker's fishnet hose. It's dark and it's not taut anymore. Last night a guy on the front row leaning into the net just missed by inches getting his face rearranged by a back-hit foul ball. He got up and left the stands for awhile afterward -- I think he had to go change his underwear.
The net and the video set-up are 2 things I really wish they'd upgrade, so the game watching experience is a little less amateur hour.
