Has won a national championship, solid recruiting classes, always a threat, and plays up to the big dogs.

Fair comparison?

Syracuse plays offense well, so no.

I think you're selling Boeheim short, he's one of 3 coaches with over 900 career wins. Miles' success to that level is limited to his career at LSU which has been less than 10 years.

I think Tom Izzo is a better comparison.

The best comparison would be Bo Ryan, but he hasn't won a championship, so.

This is a dumb thread fwiw.

But MSU has only won one NCAA title, they play defense and rebound well ALWAYS. They get high quality athletes.

I don't think you can really compare basketball coaches and football coaches.

But LSU needs a QB that can actually score more than 10 points a game, pathetic.

Has Ryan ever had a good offense?

Miles has coached some of the best offenses in LSU history.

Boeheim = Stoops. Tons of talent during their tenure, one national championship saves them from being known as colossal postseason chokers.

Would rather watch a demonstration at Sherwin Williams than watch LSU on offense.

Izzo is a great X's and O's coach and strategist. I don't think anyone will ever call Les Miles that.

True.

Ok, I give up. I don't think it's possible to get a proper comparison to the mad hatter, he's one of a kind.

Miles and R. Williams are both shitty in-game coaches that rely on their riches of talent to win games.

I'd much MUCH rather go get a beer with Les than Roy though.

Terrible comparison.

Don't you mean the Paterno of CBB?

-Both have coached at the same school for almost a century.
-Both are going/attained the all time wins record
-Boeheim has only 1 title but he is chasing Paterno and his 2 titles!!!
-Both have been investigated for child rape occurring with their assistants.......

I can't think of a coach I would rather have a beer with.

The Syracuse coach's charges were dropped due to the lead witness lying.

You should stop perpetuating harmful libel that affects people's lives.

"Both have been investigated for child rape occurring with their assistants......."

So you are falsely stating both weren't investigated by police? Everything in the news contradicts your bold statements......
