re: Republican National Committeeman condemns 'filthy homosexuals'

quote:

First, God doesn't hate homosexuals and its his desire that they repent like every other sinner. Second, God created man perfect, but sin came into the world, and because of sin, the natural order of things was infected and things began to die both physically and spiritually. Homosexuality is a mutation of what man was created to be.

So god is so powerful and so omniscient that he created man perfectly but didn't account for genetic mutation by meanS of natural selection? Or are you saying that evolution is sin? Your stance is impossible to argue with because your initial assumption is flawed and you can't get past it.

Sin introduced imperfection. Man is imperfect because of their own actions.

It should. You're already arguing on the biblical level so you have to accept biblical premises.

Man was created perfect and with free will. With free will, man sinned. Man was then imperfect and genetic mutations etc could occur.

So sin created genetic mutation? Do you have any idea what genetic mutation is?

Look, I'm telling you what Christians believe. You're trying to interject science into a religious discussion. I've had 8 years of schooling in biomedical sciences, I am more than aware of what genetic mutation is.

Great, then you understand how ridiculous this all sounds. I've been phone posting while I'm working so I'm not sure how I got into having to assume these things. I don't want to anymore.

Well I've never had visions, or have I ever spoken to God face to face. So what I know about his nature comes from his word. Ad since you reject his word, my explanation of your questions are pointless.

I reject YOUR god's word, I suppose. But yes, since you have no understanding of life science, are argument is indeed pointless.

What does life sciences have to do with your original inquiry? You said," if God made DNA ....... So in your hypothetical question, you are conceding that God exist. And if so, his word would also have to be valid text for debate.

Either you don't understand genetic mutations, or you've never read the Bible

Let's shift this discussion back to the original topic. What's so wrong with being homo? What does the G man have to say about it in his book?

But the text can't explain what science can because it predates scientific inquiry. Therefore you are making assumptions from an ancient book about things that science can explain.

Science can't even concur if homosexuals are born that way, so I'd say in this matter, you are giving science way too much credit.

Google," what does the bible say about homosexuality". You would be amazed at what you can find.
