At best? That's closer to the worst case scenario than the best. We'd have to lose three of the four big games (or be upset in one of the others) for this to happen. At best we go 12-0. Probably we go about 10-2.

LSU sweeps the West, but loses to Georgia in the regular season, on route to an 10-1 record heading into senior day home against Arkansas. With the SEC West on the line and a #2 ranking in the AP and BCS, LSU shits the bed in front of 93,000 people in the stands and a national viewing audience, losing to Arkansas by a TD.
Because of this, Alabama goes to the SEC Title Game, beats Georgia, and wins another National Title.
LSU gets left out and gets sent back to Atlanta for another fun filled New Years Eve snoozer by an unmotivated team that hates their life.

With some breaks we could see an 10-2 season. If things don't line up our way 8-4 is not so ridiculous given the schedule.
