Conferences without a basketball tourney

Guy on NBC radio just said Harvard had a 'soft entry' to the NCAAs because the Ivy didn't have a tournament. Opinions

Conferences decide how they will hand out their auto bid to the tourney. The Ivy league gives theirs to the regular season champion. Harvard's entry into the tournament is as legitimate as any other auto bid. The guy calling it a 'soft entry' is an ignorant a-hole trying to denigrate the conference for not going for the money grab that is a conference tournament.

Eh, I think they determine what teams are the better tournament team. Look at the Sun Belt; MTSU won the at large but choked in the Belt tourney. Didn't even win the play in NCAA game. WKU actually almost beat Kansas.
