Johnson or Fisher if available.

If not, best available defensive player... Any position except ILB.

Trade Ivory to Atlanta. They want him. Atlanta give up that second pick, Beeeooccches!!

I'll just pray you are joking about a team actually taking Ivory for a second round pick.

If I'm New Orleans, I get New England or San Francisco on the phone and start looking for a trade partner who can give us two to three more mid round picks.

That's sweet but I don't like the idea of trading up to get Mingo.

It would probably cost our first and another pick this year plus an early round pick next year.

They must have just smoked some purp with TM7 before telling Ke Ke that news. Why would we trade up and lose draft picks in a draft where we are short on draft picks?

I think we should trade up and get like 4 more 1st rounders.

We don't need the other rounds anyway.

If true, maybe the Saints are trying to run up his value so that another player that they are really interested in possibly falls and they have no interest in Mingo at all. The FO is just too smart to put out information like that if they were truly planning on doing something like that(which wouldn't be smart in the first place)

Don't forget we have a Ryan on staff now. Anything is possible

So we have no LB that has ever played a full season at 3-4 OLB and we're crossing that off the list for need? It would be no surprise if Mingo or Jones might be the BPA at #15 as well. Still no go? Afraid I still want more competition for such a vital component of 3-4 success. None of the Top 3 LTs will be available. Lotulelei is the premier non OLB talent that could demand must-pick status. If no Nmandi, why would we not think they have CB as a pressing need? Xavier Rhodes could justify a #15 and fits Ryan's CB design perfectly.

Exactly what I was saying yesterday. Best way to mask a bad defense is to get to the QB. In a 3-4, OLB is the most important position. Butler is a good sign, but in 2 years he'll probably be looking for his big career contract. We need a young person to be the franchise player at OLB, and regardless of how the FO feels about who we currently have, it's a high risk not to get at least one more player to groom into the new system.

I can see Jenkins having a great year.

Only way I see Jenkins improving is moving him back to CB.
