ULM will sell all their allotted tickets easy. Mainly on account of LSU is our favorite team.

is there a certain rule that prevents that? bc some of those FCS teams hold 20k and could plausibly host MAC or Sun Belt teams

I believe the rule is that when a FCS team plays a big boy it needs to be in the home of the Div 1 a team. But you are right some 1aa teams could run laps around rinky dink FBS teams

There is no NCAA rule prohibiting an FBS school playing at an FCS school. But I believe the Sunbelt has a conference rule against it. They would hate the embarrassment of not only getting beat by an FCS school, but also the fact that they had to go to their campus to play them.

but is it an actual rule? i know no one in a major conference will ever travel to FCS, but for example McNeese should be able to bring in ULL or ULM

Your baseball team agrees.

Exactly and hell Towson gave LSU a close one last year.

and North Dakota State always plays close, Northern Iowa is always close with Iowa as was Sam Houston State and the Aggies

They do better than that. 6-3 vs FBS and 3 straight wins over FBS teams (they definitely aren't the top BCS schools - but still a good accomplishment). Here's there performance against FBS schools since moving up from D-II:

2006: 29-24 over Ball St; 9-10 loss to Minnesota
2007: 44-14 over Central Michigan; 27-21 over Minnesota
2008: 13-16 loss to Wyoming
2009: 17-34 loss to Iowa St
2010: 6-3 over Kansas
2011: 37-24 over Minnesota
2012: 22-7 over Colorado St

I honestly have no idea why Minnesota would ever schedule them again.

Maybe they got upset when McNeese went to Lafayette a few years back and took it to ULLLLLLLL; or maybe it was when McNeese beat Middle Tennessee this year

Foolish. ULLLLL should be competing with the likes of LSU and other storied programs in college football, not little FCS teams.

Foot, it was several yrs ago but you can check with your own athletic dept as they sent the unsold tickets back to LSU. It's a fact. Only La. Tech has sold its allotment of tickets. It's another fact.

Did "check with the library, it's a fact" work when you put it in your referencing pages?

Wow, thats a complete reversal from what your fanbase was touting on this site leading up to that game.

But I digress.
