Saw that last night. It's a dark sour. 6.66 (wink wink) abv. Looks interesting but if I'm going to drop $20 plus shipping for a beer, probably isn't going to be this one.

why do so many breweries have satanic or dark overtones? I don't care all that much i just thought it was odd. Pretty much all Three Floyds and Surly beers are based off that. Are they the exception to the beer world?

100% Brettanomyces Dark beer fermented in stainless and aged in red wine barrels. "Brett" is a unique yeast strain that produces flavors that would be considered offensive if they were not intentional. Flavors of sour cherry, tobacco, oak, and classic "Brett" barnyard funk balanced by dark Munich malt chewiness. Enjoy immediately or age at cellar temperature for a couple years.

Yep and many have very "macho" names too. Most of the craft beer geeks I know are men, but I think they'd get more women involved if they'd brew a Summer's Eve Ale or a Sensitive Saison.

I presume that most craft brewers live that "alternative" life style. Not a lot of conservative Christians brewing beer. I just thought it was funny that so many beers seemed to have dark names. There are many that have "crude" names. Sweetwater comes to mind.

It is funny that you mentioned the beer name thing because I was thinking about it the other day. The names of many craft beers do make it seem as if they are marketing to males.

Yea. Not to mention all the douches who would flock to it.

Yes! Glad my douche reference was not lost. I have not seen one of those commercials in years.
