Thats a pretty good promotional video.
And its not like the message is all about the coeds. It was part of a speech from 20+ years ago made by their legendary coach, and it was a pretty funny quip.
ULL and the rest of the Sunbelt are getting 2 pretty good prgrams in GSU and ASU.

How old is the video? Because Georgia Southern has been a DI school for years.

Division 1AA not the same as D1.

In football it's not but in other sports D1 is D1. For instance Appalachian state is D1AA in football but in baseball they are D1

Texas State beat writer tweeted that the SBC is preparing for the loss of two schools. So we'll see if the Cajuns will be around when GSU and Appy come into the picture.

If you're going to talk about "1AA", then there is no "D1" football. It was always "I-AA" and "I-A" for football. But now, it's all referred to as DI, just FCS and FBS.

How much more do CUSA and MAC schools make than Sun Belt schools? Arky State to the MAC doesn't seem to make much sense on the surface.

I don't know off-hand, but it can't be that much higher. It's not the money stAte and the Cajuns are chasing, it's the perception. As soon as SBC presidents and Karl Benson mentioned Southland teams as possible invites, I'm sure Dr. Savoie noped straight out of the meeting room.
