I need some education on Elbert. He's obviously talented. But it seems his size is antithetical to what Johnny wants to do running the floor. He's just an athletic freak that can move fluidly at that size?

While he doesn't fit the run the floor style, he's still athletic and moves well enough. He'll have to lose weight, but it's not like he's a statue. He's far more mobile than Tuba was.

Aren't Jaylin Patterson and Ben Simmons visiting this weekend? I also thought either Miles Reynolds and/or Cornelius Hudson were scheduled to visit.

Patterson and Simmons are not sure about anyone else.

Bubba retweeted Ben Love saying LSU would have a trio of hoops prospects visiting this weekend. I know of Patterson and Simmons, but I'm not sure of the third, since Hudson dropped out and Reynolds apparently wasn't making it down.

Reynolds is next week.

Elijah Thomas is making it and he's a 5* PF for 2015.

Elijah Thomas is a complete and utter beast. His recruitment is going to be ridiculous also, as he just had a big deal the last week or so where he released his 24 finalists (if that's even a thing) on twitter. He's going to drive people nuts.

The connection, however, is that he is very close to both Jordan Mickey and Elbert Robinson.

just though i would drop this tidbit in here: new louisiana high school basketball rankings according to nola.com

LINK

IMO-
too high: Cornish, Griffin, Plasiance, preston
too low: Epps, Touchet, Stove, and Hawkins

Stove is low at 3?

Agree on your others. Also think Quinton Thomas is underrated.

I would have Magee and Stove over Cornish. Stove averaged more points and rebounds in the eybl than cornish and did on fewer shot attempts per game.

Wow that Magee kid looks legit. Did he ever have any interest in LSU?

Yes. He was LSU's prime guard target and we finished second. Losing Kirby to Memphis was mentioned as a bonus for them.

He would have received an offer in the Trent Johnson era that's for sure. Doesn't fit CJJ's style of play.
