Would you put a new roll pin in for a mag release lever, back strap?

I'm swapping out my P2000 mag release for a HK45C and even though I've ordered new roll pins I'm not sure this application requires one.
What do you think?
ETA: Awe shite, I thought I was buying roll pins for both the grip back strap and the mag release but they are different. Guess I'll just change it and have a spare for changing it back later...
I want to experiment with back straps, but I won't swap pins for that unless it gets loose.
One pin's 14 and one's 20 mm long.

Unless you think you need the extra length of the mag release, I would leave it alone. Just my 2 cents.

It seems like a no-brainer upgrade. I plan on comparing them on different range trips, but I have hard time believing the original will be better. Unless I'm dropping mags with the bigger one.
