It's the Sub-Compact model that's also coming out with a 9MM soon. Just trying to get some Pros and Cons on it. Thinking of buying one.

Got one. It's awesome.

Recoil isn't bad at all for a 3.3" .45

Somebody here page me?

I have one. I love it. Handles great and is surprisingly accurate. Not as comfortable as a M&P but comfortable enough. My ole lady is tiny and she can shoot it with no problems. She doesnt like to shoot it, but she can. Its light enough that I forget its on my side with a Crossbreed holster.

I paid $600 for mine but it was the first one in BR. Anything under $550 is an instant buy, in my book.

The 9MM version was revealed at Shot Show. I think I want the .45 though. Have plenty of 9MM's.

What he said.

Great gun. Less recoil than I expected from the subcompact in .45.
My fiancee shoots it well also and wants one in 9mm. Gonna try to talk her into something a little lighter on the wallet, not that the $549 I paid for mine was bad.
Highly advise the ext. mag for it, especially if you have large/bigger hands. Also comes in case with two mags and holster.

Yep, two weeks old. Shoots really well for a 3.3 inch .45. I really like the trigger especially when compared to prevous XD models. Get one, you'll like it.

Had one -- swapped it for a Lorcin .25 ACP. (Hated to take advantage of the guy, but, hey -- he agreed to it).

I like mine. It conceals really well with the 5 rnd magazine. I wish there were better holster selections available for it though....

Found one on Bud's and put it on layaway. Figured I need to wait a little while since I just bought an LC9 and an SR22.

That's one of the great things about America (for now at least?).....There are so many different guns that anyone should be able to find one that fits their hand well. Like others, I hate how Glocks fit my hand. OTOH, the XD's fit it just fine. How well a particular gun fits one hands is an idividual thing that can't be predicted. Actually there is ONE exception.......the usually 1911 fits everyone's hand.

I just traded my Walther PPS for an XDS. I had a compact xdm .45 but it was to big for me to easily conceal so I switched over to the pps. I liked the pps a lot, but I shot an xds for the first time last week and I really liked it. I prefer the .45 to 9mm.
