OK we agree that Leno is not funny. Give me an example of what is?

Got it you need to feel the right was more wrong concerning Crapbucks. Then add to it your full support of a hypocritical liar. Thanks!

He doesn't. Funny how this never mattered the last 10 years until now

You have got to be kidding me. Sorry he has family values unlike you hippy liberals who don't enjoy family time

Family values mean close on Sunday? Funny my family eats out together on Sunday sometimes. I guess not there. Not everybody has the same religious views. For example, if I made all my franchisees close on Sat. that would be bad business. But then again, people knew that when they bought his franchise.

But by closing all his places on Sunday he is telling me he doesn't want my business.

Comedians suffice? I don't find any late night show hosts to be funny. Well, not really a fan of the format. Maybe Conan years ago?

Hmmm... Doug Stanhope. George Carlin. Louis CK. Mitch Hedberg. Richard Pryor. David Cross. Lewis Black.

Misrepresentation.

He isn't telling them he doesn't want their business, he is telling a shareholder he can always sell if he doesn't like his policies.

Meh, we can read between the lines.

Conan.. never funny ... F-
Stanhope, Cross, Black, Louis...haven't heard of them.
Pryor... I give him a C+ at best.
Carlin and Hedberg... A+

Not going to quibble over Conan. I haven't watched him since I was undergrad at LSU and everyone watched him. I remember enjoying it, but it could very well have been F material.

I love Pryor. I listened to him with my Dad long before I should have and way earlier than I would've understood most of what he said.

If you like Carlin, you might dig Stanhope. Carlin is in a league of his own, but you can see the influence on Stanhope's standup.

David Cross is a bit more hit and miss than the others on the list, imo. But when he hits, it's pretty good.

Lewis Black is consistently funny for me.

Louis CK is another one that's pretty consistently enjoyable.

I tried ranking them... but couldn't. Hedberg and Carlin would top it, for sure. Not certain about the rest, though.

Let me make sure I have this...you have never heard of Louis CK, David Cross, or Lewis Black (who I don't care for but have experienced), you give Richard Pryor a C+ (at best), think Duck Dynasty is hilarious, and claim you have a refined threshold for comedy?

1. Yes
2. Are you going to answer my question or keep avoiding it? What TV shows do you think are funny?

Let's forget about stand up and talk about TV shows, which is what DD is. I gave up on sit coms after Green Acres and Bat Man. That must have been the 70s. Then later watched some Beavis and But Head and some South Park. I have never found a network sitcom in the last 30 years to be even mildly funny. Got one?

I liked Arrested Development.

A lot.

Curb, I thought, was also pretty good.

I used to watch a lot of Green Acres on TBS before Braves games.

You misrepresented what the guy actually said.

At the time I posted this, I was at work, saw the headline and read the article. I posted the title of the story exactly as it was headed on the story to the link I included. It does seem that the writer of the story did take liberties with the title and implied things that weren't said. I apologize if my coping the title helped to spread this mischaracterization. People have to judge for themselves if what he said in accompanying videos and the tone he used implied what the writer meant.

Me: Shut up. You can't have a pool.
Lucy: Then I want a puppy. And a pig and a goat.

quite simply put if you found out that a the CEO of a company gave money to a group that apposed you're rights, would you keep giving them money?

I am not saying that the traditional marriage people don't have a right to boycotts, but that doesn't mean Starbucks doesn't want their business, or even opposes their rights.
