Piggybacking on TV timeouts is RIDICULOUS

That's the biggest reason for me that college basketball is becoming unwatchable
VCU called a TO at 15:03. But there was no break for the TV timeout at 16:00. So the NEXT dead ball became a mandatory TV timeout too.
So you just had 30 seconds of action with no scoring sandwiched between 8 minutes of commercials.
If a team calls a timeout inside the TV timeout window, it should count as both. These breaks are too fricking long and coaches are taking advantage of it and abusing it.

They still fit in all of the commercials. I have seen that fricking blind date Bud Light ad 32747 times since Tuesday.
Coaches should not be allowed to call 8 minute time outs just because he is getting his arse kicked.

Boy, you must f'n DESPISE the NBA. Though it does irritate me when CBS goes to commercial in that case. They should just hang in there for the TV timeout. But... any excuse to cram in more advertising.

I do despise the NBA, actually.
It's almost as bad as when they make you stop NFL games for more commercials after a touchback, or when the go to a commercial break with 4 seconds left in the third quarter.
