Had a Zydeco burger with pepper jack, fried onions and chipotle ranch on a jalapeño bun, with cottage fries.... Perfect lunch

Try the River Grill, going fromLoop into the River Oaks subdivision . Sitting over the bayou. I hear the food is good.

Or for ethic, go to Rawz on 165. Excellent Thai and Vietnamese. Plus, the Taste of India in the garden district does some great Indian dishes.
