kwon could play middle, too, since he's running with the 2s at mike.

Would love to see Barrow in the middle with Debo and Kwon on the outside. Beast.

In fact, I think the fact that Chavis is being so hard on Welter speaks highly of his prospects to hold down the mike spot. That Chavis is investing so much energy in Welter means something. As a player, it’s always better to be yelled at by a coach like Chavis than to be ignored.

I think this is just called coaching

I love this team, can't wait for the fall

Gonna go out on a limb and say Barrow will be our best player on D. Definitely needs to move to Mike

If barrow doesn't start at MLB on this young defense it's a major fail. It can only mean he cannot grasp the position

One of the articles suggested Chief really wants to keep Barrow on the outside but for that to happen he needs someone to step up at MLB. I guess the hope is that would be Welter.

IMO, at kickoff vs TCU Barrow will start on the inside and Tahj/Kwon on the outside.

I hope our d is

FS-Martin
SS-Loston
CB-Mills
CB-Collins
OLB-Debo
MLB-Barrow
OLB-Kwon
DE-Hunter
DE-Rasco
DT-Freak
DT-Ego

With QT coming on passing downs to replace Ego, and Micah playing the nickel. The speed on the field would be ridiculous.

Pocic will be an All-American for us.

He is damn good and almost size ready as a frosh.

I agree. He and Diarse look fantastic, and are basically still in high school!
