Agreed. But as much as I might want to think I am concerned about the rights of others, it is not just concern for my fellow man. It is in my own interest to see government not infringe on anyone's rights.
What most people fail to understand or refuse to accept is that when you allow a government to acquire the power to trample one group's rights, that power is then used increasingly to trample the rights of everyone.
