It's pretty overrated, which isn't saying its a bad movie, it just wasn't anywhere near the "best movie of the year" as some said. But I still get why people really liked it.

Jason Clarke completely dominates the first half of the movie and put on a hell of a performance that is very underrated due to the Jessica Chastain hype. Chastain was nothing more than a silent duck when he was on the screen.

I agree with Weebie. He's been very good so far.

this can be argued either way, but I was just happy that neither that snoozefest Lincoln or Les Miserablecrap won best picture at the Oscars. I was cheering for both Argo and Zero Dark Thirty to win.

Just finished it. It's very good, there's just a lot of other stuff that needs to get covered in an almost 3 hour movie.

The last 30 minutes or so is intense.

My favorite movie of the year. The way they can create that kind of suspense for an ending that everyone already knows is great.

The raid at the end is excellent and makes the movie great. It incredibly matches up with the book No Easy Day.

Overrated might not be the right word. There's word for it, but I can't find it.

I loved Zero Dark Thirty. I also loved The Hurt Locker. As far as the acting, it was all pretty much well done. Clarke was great, then Chastain carried the middle, then the raid and Chris Pratt brought us home.

I honestly love modern military movies. This is in my wheelhouse, I guess that's why I knight for it.

Every time I see The Hurt Locker, Jarhead, Blackhawk Down, We Were Soldiers, Saving Private Ryan, etc. I have to watch. It will be no different for Zero Dark Thirty. I saw it in theaters and I can't wait to see it on my new TV ASAP.

Like someone said earlier, they just did a great job materializing the tension in the film even though we already knew the outcome. And let's give credit to casting. Coach Taylor and Tony Soprano are in the movie, and those actors are generally well-liked because of their previous roles. Having them in ZD30 is icing on the cake.
