I wish Delatte would have stuck it out and not left. I think he could have helped LSU. He was starting as a freshman (redshirt I think) and struggled a little bit. So what? He had 3 more years left in him. I don't know if Mainieri pushed him out of the door, or Delatte just left because he got benched the last month of the season. But the conversations at the time seemed like he just left on his own.
