Yeah, I really don't understand why people are advocating our first round pick on a small speedy receiver.

How many more yards is Drew Brees going to throw for with Austin on the field in 2013?

How much would Austin even be on the field in 2013?

Point being, he might be a good player but his impact would be limited, at least for the upcoming season.

The defense needs players ready to contribute early and often right now.

not so much about the quantity of production so much as the quality of the production per attempts. The higher the quality of our passer game, the more it opens up our run game and we become a stabilized efficient offense ala 2009.

That nock has Mingo and Jones being available at 15. If so I wonder who we'd go with

A reliable defense also helps open up the running game.

yeah, not quite the easy call.

Jones: More ready, more production to show, possibly has the more want to hunger

Mingo: has the measurables, ton of talent, still raw, speed, maybe higher ceiling, could be a project.

I would go with Jones if both was available, just because we know what he will bring. Mingo is a question mark, but if Jones wasn't in the picture I'll love Mingo

Finally, someone realizes it.
