Curious to see what all is out there. Personally, I'll be involved in a few things.
1. Obviously the traditional bracket picks
2. Single game bets
3. When the field gets down to 32, I have a relative that takes $10 per team available and essentially pulls teams out of hat for people who enter. I wish he did them with spreads, but he doesn't. I usually buy in for 2 teams.
4. Doing something new this year. Joining a fantasy draft this week with 6 others. You take 6 players and add up all their points throughout the tournament. Players can only be selected by one individual. Still need to do some homework for this.

1. Traditional bracket picks
2. Joined something new this year. Basically a grid with winning number up top, loser running down the side. You take the last number from each teams score and if your box matches you win. $200 entry. Play-in and 1st Round games get $165. Second round gets $235. Third $325. Fourth $420. Fifth $970. Championship $4,000.

7 friends and I draft teams in a snake draft, we each get 8. You get a point for each win each of your teams attain.
Most points at the end of it wins.
I also do the usual bracket challenge with friends on ESPN and CBSSports

Do the normal brackets, but also a pretty fun one where a couple weeks before the brackets are selected the guy running the pool sends out an e-mail with 64 names of something (this year it was action heroes) each corresponding to a seed. Once you get your seed you start off with that team, if your team is the favorite you need to beat the spread to advance, if you have the dog and you cover the spread, but that team loses, you get the team that was favorite in the next round and the person owning the higher seed is eliminated. It keeps going like this until the end. Pretty fun contest.

I actually ran that type of pool for the NFL playoffs this year. I sent out texts to each participant with the lines 30 minutes before kick. Can't imagine managing it that way for a field of 64.

It doesn't seem to be too bad......It's probably only difficult for the first round, but I think he takes the Wednesday line from USA Today.
