What's the longest boat trip you've been on?

Not counting offshore charters or cruises.
Last year my friends dad took his blazer bay to Destin and rode it all the way back to Port Vincint. Just wondering if this is a common thing to do

I have some buddies who put a party barge in somewhere in Illinois and floated all the way down to right past three rivers.

I think it was something like 10 hours.

That sounds like a lot of fun.

Not common. Don't know why anyone would do that on a boat that small and easy to trailer. Perhaps he didn't have a trailer?

Nah he brought it down on the trailer and I drove the trailer back on the way home.
He loves being on the water.

10 day raft trip, but included camping on the bank.
4 days around Admiralty and Baranof Islands, including parts of Glacier Bay.

Back when I was 19, buddy's dad took us on a trip up the Tennessee River. Started in South Sautey in Guntersville, and ended up just north of Knoxville, camped out on an island overnight before starting back. Always said we were gonna do it again, but in the opposite direction. Never have yet.
It was 1989. I remember Bama was playing Penn State. Blair Thomas was running all over us, and we won with a blocked kick at the end of the game. The block happened as we were getting on shore at the island.

In a boat with outboards, Al to La or an overnight tuna trip depending on how you count "Longest boat trip." it would be longer on boats with inboards, but all this depends on whether duration or distance travelled is the deciding factor.

Distance-wise for me was aboard the largest catamaran in the world, the Stena Explorer from Dún Laoghaire (Dublin) to Holyhead, Wales. It's about 65 miles and we took the ferry in 2008 before they started slowing down due to rising fuel costs so we crossed the Irish Sea at 40+ knots. It was pretty cool because the wind was off the starboard bow and the ship was rocking.
Of course we took the ferry because we were cheap and couldn't afford to fly.

You know, man...anyone can do those trips. People think Ak is some far, distant place but Juneau is only a two hour plane trip from Seattle. These kind of trips are fairly common here, and lots of folks from the "outside" do it every year.
Much of Alaska is public land and all you folks have equal access to me, just have to travel a bit further. I've shown a few TD'ers around up here.
