I need someone to come to a gathering and shuck oysters and charbroiled them. I'll provide everything and pay.
Have a gathering in a friends home. Probably three sacks of oysters. Shuck, serve some on the half shell, turn around and charbroil some on a grill behind you, put on platter and that's it. Just keep them coming. I have someone we have used in Florida for this and need someone to do it here. Good shucker is a must. Next weekend from say 7-10.
Anyone interested?

The guys at acme on veterans do it on the side. Go there and ask one of them, they are real good and affordable I believe.

I pay but I don't pay per diem.
Somebody can make a nice chunk of change though and drink some really great wines.

If I was closer.

Eh..Pinto sleeps in the neighborhood down the street.
And I'd be careful saying Pinto and gas in the same thread. Pretty volatile.

We're too old to pull off all of this excitement in a weekend. I don't want Will Ferral singing at my funeral too damn soon.

Maybe one of the guys at Mansur's who isn't working that night could do it. Call for lilwineman there and ask.

I'm sure I have a young gentleman who would love to make some side cash. A couple of them are probsbly not 21 but shuck nice clean oysters. My number one guy is coming on a catering offsite function for 140 guests for a wedding with oysters provided but I have a couple others available. Just let me know. Hell you could even get some of our butter if desired...

How is the butter sold? Cup, pint, quart?

damn, I would if I lived in BR still.
I love doing it.
also to "kick it up a notch" try putting small bits of tasso in your butter mixture. So good.

I know you have to live close to me, because we frequent so many of the same places. Now that you've arranged for all the hired help and I'm not at risk of being put to work, I want to come crash.

Really? I've followed the smell of grilling oysters a few times, no regrets. Then again, maybe those folks weren't the TD elite.

So I'm elite because I think a private party is not really a place to crash?
