Better than watching Vancouver playing Chivas USA.

I'd much rather watch Vancouver play Chivas USA, if the game isn't at the Home Depot Center in front that one Chivas USA fan. I'd definitely watch it over Scott Sinclair and Gareth Barry against Alex Song, Jonathan Dos Santos and Pinto.

I've seen much better football played by MLS teams this year, than many top tier Premier League teams. Watching City and Arsenal at times is mind numbingly boring. Just because there are good players on the field, doesn't mean that good football is being played.

You can say that all that you want. I've watched a lot of shitty MLS so far this season. It's not near as good as you claim. Shitty organization and defense does not mean it's good football.

Or maybe we don't give a shite about whoever the hell you have riding pine. I'd probably read a book instead.

If Pool was involved you'd be singing a different tune. Would you rather watch MLS or read?

No I wouldn't.

MLS most likely. Unless its Game of Thrones. Then I'll be on the toilet getting some good work done.

Look, all I'm saying is that competitions like the League Cup have the lowest prestige out of any of the tournaments because half of the teams just don't care all that much. We watch B squads pretty frequently and a team that tries to brag about the Capital One Cup title will just be laughed at. How is this any different? At least in the Cap One you might have a Cinderella story. Not happening in this one.

It's barely even the benchwarmers. It typically consists of reserve team players who are about to be loaned out or sold. United trots out Frederico Macheda every summer to score a couple goals in order to lure suitors into taking him on loan. Usually these games consist of maybe one "star" starting along with a few youth team guys and the "oh yeah he's still with us" players.

Exactly. Entertaining for that team's fans who might want to check out how the younger guys are doing. But that's what the reserve team is for.

Yeah, I'd rather watch Chelsea's reserves and collect 175 million over the MLS.

I'm sure you would, Mr. Chelsea fan. But the rest of the 99% of the world's soccer fans wouldn't.
