Courtesy of Drafttek:

From 2009-2011, the Saints draft success rate is 75%. New England sits at 66.7% and Pittsburgh is at 65.4%.

Green Bay is at 79.2%

1) they only factor in drafted players

2)they are graded if the players are on the team payroll(IR, Pract squad, whatever)

3)our offensive draftees more than make up for our lack of defensive guys

At least I tried to bring some facts to the table. If you want to bitch about the undrafted guys now, how about doing your own fricking leg work instead of making baseless claims, you negative douchebag.

Those facts are meaningless. They say nothing about the caliber of player that is being rostered.

these are the Saints defensive players drafted from 2009-2011

Malcom Jenkins
Chip Vaughn- cut
Stanley ARnoux- cut
Al Woods- cut
Patrick Robinson
Cam jordan
johnny patrick-cut
Nate Bussey-cut
greg romeus-cut

so we drafted 9 guys in those 3 drafts and 6 of them have already been cut. Meaning they couldnt even crack our mediocre to bad defenses.

And of the ones still on our team, only Cam Jordan is a guy that we can really be excited about.

so frick you and frick your useless stats

Thanks for posting the Pre-Mickey/Post-Mickey record. While there will always be reason to bash just about any NFL GM, including Loomis, you cannot ignore the Pre-Mickey/Post-Mickey record.

It stands on its own as the best record that this franchise has ever owned. So, you gotta keep Loomis.

I am positive that CSP and the whole organization are working very hard at improving scouting and every other aspect of the organization. We have every reason to trust them.

Thanks for posting these facts, which are dismal enough to spark a reaction of alarm and disappointment for all but the most optimistic fanatical fans of the New Orleans Saints.

We Saints fans are fanatical, and, we may not give much credence to the facts that you posted. We may even bash you for posting those facts.

We will have to see events unfold in the next few football seasons before we can finally judge just how much of an overall impact has been made by the facts you posted.

you don't think other teams strengths (supposedly) make up for their weaknesses (supposedly) ?

None of those teams have a system like our offense that would unbalance that. Green Bay maybe, but they have drafted well defensively and have added a lot of good UDFA on that side of the ball.

Why?

Mainly cause they have GM that can actually have input on talent. That's my best guess. To where they can judge both sides of the ball equally

So our success is driven because of a system in place but our failures are for what... lack of a system or some shite? Numbers dictate our success yet you still think of a unicorn reason to shite on them. It's tiresome and fricking retarded.

You can't mask lack of talent on defense with a system. You can on offense. How stupid are you?

I hate Loomis. He's worthless as far as evaluation talent. We could do much better

6 1st round draft picks on the roster all playing and contributing
2 stellar 2nd round picks that have been success stories
Doling out nice contracts on FA's such as Hawthorne, Bunkley, and Jabari
You can't say we've had a lack of talent walk through the doors.

I'm in the same boat. If they wanted an accountant, they could just hire one.

I didn't realize they were world beaters. Hawthorne barely saw the field, Bunkley had a decent year and Jabari is far from a shut down corner.

The frickin defense was so bad last year it set records. The defense lacks talent. That's a huge component of a bad defense.
