I buy the cheapest and if it doesn't start fairly easy after the winter I go but another one

I did this until the Honda was given to me.

I think I owned 2 $99 dollar Murrays. They weren't even worth that. I do this with Weedeaters too.

In the market for one. Also, how do the old style engineless mowers cut?

Reel mowers are great, but require some fine tuning and you can't run over anything but grass or you will frick them up. Also, a decent one will run you about the same as a decent self-propel.

Spend a little extra cash for the self propelled one. I have a Husqvarna and love it.

Like shite.

I had a Toro for over 10 years. Of course, I also had a Murray for about 8 years and gave it away when it was still running.

I am in the market too so the timing of this thread is perfect. I currently own a craftsman that runs like a champ, we can't kill it! It needs a new blade though, we don't change out blades though we just buy a new mower.

You realize sharpening new blades takes either 5 minutes or a small fee?

I went and looked at one of those at Lowe's. It was the all wheel drive one. I have a hilly arse front yard.

$500. May buy it tomorrow. Any other thoughts from anyone?
