My blood is fricking boiling. I want to go to Afghanistan, get deep under cover, and decimate every thing these people love.

The definitive 9/11 movie. I doubt we'll ever see a film on the subject that does any better at portraying the events of that day than this one.

United 93 should be required viewing in high school history classes around the country. It's an important piece of film and one of the best and most emotionally gripping movies I have ever seen.

It really is one of the most frustrating experiences ever. The whole time I want to have these people crack skulls.

I can't bring myself to watch it. Maybe someday, but not yet.

Tough movie to watch, but really well made. One of the few theater experiences I'll never forget.

Went to the crash site a few years ago before the actual memorial was built...can't describe the vibe that was in the air. Wind was blowing, in the distance an American flag planted in the field, marking the point of impact near the treeline...haunting may be the closest word to the feeling I had. I can't imagine what standing at Ground Zero would feel like but I plan on visiting it someday.

Like anyone over the age of 25 I remember 9/11 vividly. I visited ground zero in early 2002. I will never watch any 9/11 movie. I'll just get angry or depressed.

Here's what happens, they kill our people, we get enraged and kill their people. They get enraged over being invaded and kill our people. Hatfield and McCoys. It never ends. This is why Jesus taught to forgive and turn the other cheek.

I'm sure some liberties were taken, but the black box recording probably helped ensure accuracy.

Why? Because I got enraged after seeing a movie that portrayed one of the most defining moments in American history of the past 20 years? Because it took me back to high school when I sat in home room and the announcement came over the loud speaker and they wheeled TVs in so we could watch, in horror, as the second plane crashed into the towers? Are you fricking serious? If this movie doesn't enrage you, doesn't make you sick, doesn't at least for a glimmer of a moment make you want to take a shovel to every al Qaeda member's face, you are either inhuman or an al Qaeda sympathizer (and that makes you pretty inhuman in and of itself).

That moment is gone. I have no real desire to go to Afghanistan. As I said in my OP, I had just finished watching the movie. It was my first visceral reaction.
