Watched it in high school. It's great if you're interested in the Civil War. Very complete.

Also lived it. Half of my house is a museum of Civil War relics. That's no exaggeration. My dad is more than just a Civil War buff.

Seriously?

Who hasn't seen it?

They made you watch it in High School and it was on PBS round the clock when it first came out. If it wasn't so expensive to buy, they would have issued everyone a set in the mail.

I watched it and recorded it. I liked it a lot. Very well done, used lots of original pictures to illustrate the story. Well worth watching.
