They start around $1100-$1200 for the base model versions. 1860 pissed (a newer OB member and long time lurker) ordered one about a month ago and they said it would be about 9-12 months before he would see it. He got stainless with night sights for around $1500, which is pretty damn good for a novelty 1911.

Although others have answered this, no he isn't. He's just a gun enthusiast who lives in Georgia. But the dude rolls in the cash and gets to shoot some badass weapons. If I could fake an accent and get to do that stuff I would start practicing Russian tomorrow.
